Ingredients

  • 8 hot dog sausage (I used Ball Park Beef from Sam’s Club)
  • 1 8 ounce original crescent dough sheet
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds (optional)

Directions

  • 1.

Rinse the hot dog sausage and pat dry with a paper towel.

  • 2.

Score hot dog sausage in the middle to prevent the sausage to explode in the air fryer

  • 3.

Unwrapped the crescent dough and roll into a rectangle 10 inches x 16 inches

  • 4.

Cut your dough in half so you have 2 rectangles of 10 inches by 8 inches. Cut every half into 4 equal strips.

  • 5.

Roll 1 hot dog sausage per strip. If you want to add the sesame seeds and poppy seed sprinkle over each one. If not, put 4 pigs in a blanket in the basket

  • 6.

Cook at 370 degrees F for 3 minutes, turn them around and cook for another additional 3 minutes.

  • 7.

    Serve and Enjoy!

  • 8.

You can use any sausage you want.

  • 9.

I use the crescent dough sheet because I am using full length sausage. However, you can use the crescent one as well. You may need to cut the sausage to fit the dough.
